Taking the Certified Alzheimer Caregiver (CAC)® or CAEd® Exam via Remote Proctoring

Certified Alzheimer Caregiver (CAC)® and CAEd® exams are now proctored remotely by RPNow.

If you would like to take either exam, you will need a laptop or PC with a camera and microphone and you must be able to take the exam in a room without any notes or other people in the room. Phones and tablets are not supported at this time. You will be able to take the exam at any time, 24 x 7.

Once you apply, a paper guide with step-by-step screenshots of the process will be emailed to you. You can review a generic version via the link below. You will be allowed to have this remote proctoring guide in the room with you if you feel you need it, but you can't make any notes on it. The Certified Alzheimer Caregiver (CAC)® and CAEd® exams are NOT "open book" exams.
